Renewable energy firm Source Galileo partners Portland Port for a 2 GW offshore wind project off Dorset's coast.

Renewable energy firm Source Galileo has signed a non-exclusive MoU with Portland Port to develop offshore wind projects off Dorset's coast. Portland Port will provide facilities for construction and operations. The project targets 2 GW capacity, enough to power over 3 million homes annually. It includes a 2.5 GW grid connection and a 350 MW battery storage system. The collaboration aims to boost renewable energy, attract international investment, and create jobs in the region.
