President Tinubu honors ex-governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi for his role in Nigeria’s democracy push.

Dr. Kayode Fayemi, a former Ekiti State governor, has been honored by President Bola Tinubu on his 60th birthday. Tinubu praised Fayemi's role in establishing Radio Kudirat, a pro-democracy radio station during the 1990s military dictatorship. Fayemi also founded the Centre for Democracy and Development and was a key figure in forming the All Progressives Congress in 2013.
