On February 9, 2025, Gloucestershire Police in Leonard Stanley, Cotswolds, conducted a controlled explosion of World War 2 ammunition found in a local garden. Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution, but residents were later allowed to return. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit handled the operation, and police thanked the public for their cooperation.
