Baseball Hall of Famer Wade Boggs, 66, announced he is now cancer-free after a five-month battle with prostate cancer. Boggs, a five-time American League batting champion and 12-time All-Star, thanked his doctors and supporters for their help during his treatment. He played 18 seasons with the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays before being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005.
