Two men were arrested in Maine after fleeing a traffic stop, with drugs found hidden in their car.

Two Massachusetts men were arrested in South Portland, Maine, after their car hit a police cruiser during an attempted traffic stop. Police found drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl, hidden in candy wrappers. The driver, Hamza A. Mahamud, 21, and passenger, Gerald Daughtry, 33, were charged with drug trafficking and other offenses. Both were held on $30,000 cash bail.
