Taiwan aims to develop its wind energy sector to meet international standards through a 10-year policy starting in 2017, divided into three five-year stages. The first stage focused on identifying domestic capabilities to manufacture 20 key items. The subsequent stages aim to boost production and establish Taiwanese firms in the global market, supporting the country's green energy goals and enhancing energy resilience.
