Survey finds 43% of Canadians view relations between Muslim and Jewish Canadians as "bad."

A recent survey by Leger Marketing for the Association for Canadian Studies found that 43% of Canadians view the relationship between Muslim and Jewish Canadians as "bad." Conducted between January 17-19, 2025, the poll of 1,578 individuals also showed that 38% saw relations between Muslim and non-Muslim Canadians negatively. The negative perceptions are linked to events following the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel. However, younger Canadians under 35 show less negativity towards these relations, offering a hopeful outlook.
