New York Islanders forward Mathew Barzal underwent a minor knee procedure on Thursday, with an expected recovery time of about six weeks. The 27-year-old was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday after sustaining a lower-body injury while blocking a shot in a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Barzal had six goals and 14 assists in 30 games prior to the injury.
