The last Philippine Mars waterbomber embarks on its final flight to Arizona's Pima Air and Space Museum.

The Philippine Mars, the last of its kind and a historic waterbomber, is set to leave Sproat Lake for its final journey to the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona, on February 9, 2025. This marks the third attempt to fly the aircraft south, with previous efforts halted by engine issues. After departing, it will stop in San Francisco for customs, visit San Diego, where the Martin Mars were once stationed, and then proceed to Arizona for dismantling and display.
