Irish leader ends energy credits and cost-of-living aid in next budget.
Irish Taoiseach Micheál Martin has announced that there will be no continuation of energy credits or new cost-of-living packages in the upcoming budget. Energy credits, introduced last year to help with inflation and cost-of-living challenges, provided €250 off electricity bills for domestic customers. It remains unclear whether previous measures like additional payments for allowances and tax credits will be affected.
