James Shepard, 50, was arrested for stealing appliances from homes under construction in Flagler and St. Johns counties. His vehicle, a black Chevrolet Silverado with a stolen license plate, led investigators to a Palm Coast storage unit where 22 appliances were found. Shepard faces charges for Grand Theft and Burglary of Unoccupied Dwellings, and authorities seek potential victims who may have unknowingly bought stolen appliances from him.
