Victrex reports a strong start to 2025 with a 9% revenue increase but faces challenges in medical sales.
Victrex, a leading polymer company, reported a strong start to its fiscal year 2025 with a 9% revenue increase to £66.6 million and a 20% rise in volume to 898 tonnes in the first quarter. Despite this, medical sales remain low due to industry destocking. The company expects further cashflow improvement and maintains its forecast for at least mid-single digit volume growth for the year, despite foreign exchange challenges and new facility costs.
