The Granby Zoo in Quebec announced the death of Shaboola, Canada's first white rhino, who passed away at 45 due to health issues including arthritis and kidney failure. Born at the Toronto Zoo in 1979, Shaboola was known for her gentle nature and was a favorite among zookeepers. To continue the breeding program, the zoo plans to introduce two new female rhinos to keep Shaboola's companion, K.C., company.
