Ghana's NPP demands one-week deadline for election win declaration, threatens Parliament disruptions.

Frank Annoh-Dompreh, a top New Patriotic Party (NPP) official in Ghana, has given the Electoral Commission a one-week deadline to declare the NPP's candidate as the winner of the disputed Ablekuma North parliamentary election. He warned of ongoing disruptions in Parliament if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) continues to contest the results. Both parties' candidates claim victory, and the delay in declaring a winner has led to tensions and property damage. Annoh-Dompreh also urged police to hold accountable those responsible for disrupting the election process.
