Alkem Laboratories acquires skincare firm Adroit Biomed and orthopedic firm Bombay Ortho for Rs 287 crore.

Alkem Laboratories, an Indian pharmaceutical company, is expanding its domestic presence by acquiring Adroit Biomed, a skincare company, and Bombay Ortho Industries, an orthopedic implants manufacturer, for a total of Rs 287 crore. These acquisitions aim to diversify Alkem's portfolio and strengthen its market share in dermatology, cosmetology, and orthopedic sectors. Adroit reported a revenue of Rs 53.55 crore in the last fiscal year. The deals are expected to be completed by mid-2025.
