Youth protesters defaced Glasgow University building, demanding divestment from arms firms linked to Israel.

Protesters from Youth Demand defaced Glasgow University's James McCune Smith Learning Hub with red paint and glued themselves to the building, demanding an end to the university's investments in Israeli-linked arms research and calling for a trade embargo on Israel. The university, which holds shares in arms firms like BAE Systems and QinetiQ, faced criticism despite surveys showing strong support for divestment among staff and students. Two protesters, ages 22 and 24, were arrested.
