Wildlife sanctuary rescues and cares for a dehydrated baby potoroo named Tippi.

A baby long-nosed potoroo, Tippi, has been rescued and is now under the care of animal keeper Michele Thiemann at Potoroo Palace, a wildlife sanctuary in Australia's Far South Coast. Found cold and dehydrated, Tippi is being fed five times a day with a special diet and is expected to live up to 12 years in captivity, compared to four years in the wild. The sanctuary cares for 15 potoroos and spends nearly $300,000 annually on their care. Donations are welcome.
