Two women from Browning, Montana, died in a head-on collision on a snowy highway while one was passing illegally.

Two women, Jahly Braverock, 25, and Rachel Augare, 41, both from Browning, were killed in a car crash on February 4, 2025, on US Highway 2 near the Blackfoot Cut Across. Braverock, driving a Chevrolet Silverado, attempted to pass a snowplow and another car, crossing into oncoming traffic and colliding head-on with Augare's Ford Explorer. Alcohol is suspected as a factor in the crash, and road conditions were snow-covered. The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating.
