Kaleb Fleck, 20, of Kalispell, Montana, pleaded guilty to deliberate homicide in the 2023 death of homeless man Scott Bryan. Fleck admitted to assaulting Bryan, while his accomplice, 18-year-old Wiley Meeker, claimed he pulled Fleck away. Prosecutors recommend a 50-year prison sentence with 10 years suspended, while Fleck's attorneys suggest 40 years with 20 suspended. Sentencing is set for March 31, 2025.
