Japanese firm SANAA receives 2025 Royal Gold Medal for Architecture from RIBA for innovative designs.
Japanese architectural firm SANAA, founded by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, received the 2025 Royal Gold Medal for Architecture from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The award recognizes their pioneering work in sustainable, user-centered design, with notable projects including the New Museum in New York and the Rolex Learning Centre in Switzerland. SANAA will be celebrated in London on May 1.
