The national average is $3.14, with Mississippi having the lowest prices at $2.68 per gallon and Hawaii the highest at $4.55. Analyst Patrick De Haan warns that tariffs on Canadian imports could increase gas prices in the Northeast, Great Lakes, Midwest, and Rocky Mountain regions, but a prolonged trade war could weaken economies and reduce demand, offsetting some effects.
