Akasa Air, India's new budget airline, raises over $125M to expand, aiming top global ranking by 2030.

Akasa Air, India's newest budget airline, has raised over $125 million from investors including Premji Invest, Claypond Capital, and 360 ONE Asset, with additional funding from the Jhunjhunwala family. This capital will support the airline's expansion plans, aiming to become one of the top 30 airlines globally by 2030. Since its launch in August 2022, Akasa Air has flown over 15 million passengers and now holds a 4.6% market share in India.
