Researchers still seek Kwiisahi?, a stranded orca calf last seen in 2021, hoping she's still alive.

A two-year-old female orca calf named Kwiisahi?is, or Brave Little Hunter, gained global attention after being stranded in a Vancouver Island tidal lagoon last year. Despite no confirmed sightings since August 2021, research group Bay Cetology remains hopeful that the orphan calf is still alive and continues to search for her.
