Crayola brings back eight classic colors from 1903 to boost creativity, starting early February.
Crayola is reintroducing eight retired colors—Dandelion, Blizzard Blue, Magic Mint, Mulberry, Orange Red, Violet Blue, Lemon Yellow, and Raw Umber—available in crayons, markers, and colored pencils at major retailers starting early February 2025. The move honors the company's first eight-color crayon box from 1903 and aims to boost creativity, based on a survey showing parents' belief in color's role in child development. Crayola will also introduce new products and collaborations throughout the year.
