Stuart Murdoch, the frontman of Belle and Sebastian, has released his debut novel, "Nobody's Empire," inspired by his personal experience with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) or ME. The story follows a young Scottish man named Stephen, who develops ME and travels to California for a better climate. The novel explores themes of self-discovery, friendship, and spirituality, set against the backdrop of the 1980s and 1990s music scene.
