Coupang, a South Korean e-commerce company, saw a 7.3% rise in short interest in January, but analysts gave positive ratings, with Sanford C. Bernstein upgrading it to "outperform." Despite CEO Bom Kim selling 15 million shares in November, Coupang reported strong Q3 earnings, with a 27.2% revenue increase. Institutional investors have also increased their holdings in the company.
