A babysitter sues Neil Gaiman for sexual assault and his wife for trafficking, seeking $7M.
A New Zealand woman, Scarlett Pavlovich, has filed three civil lawsuits against author Neil Gaiman and his wife, Amanda Palmer, accusing Gaiman of sexually assaulting her repeatedly while she worked as their babysitter and nanny. Pavlovich, who met the couple in 2020 when she was homeless, claims that Palmer was aware of Gaiman's sexual desires and presented her to him knowing he would assault her. Gaiman denies the allegations, stating he has never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity. The lawsuits seek at least $7 million in damages and claim violations of federal human trafficking laws.
