The Connecticut Sun have signed Tina Charles, a two-time WNBA MVP and the league's all-time leading rebounder, to a one-year deal. Charles, 36, played for the Atlanta Dream last season and will join Marina Mabrey and Natasha Cloud as key players for the Sun, who lost their entire starting lineup from last season. Off the court, Charles is known for founding Hopey's Heart Foundation to combat sudden cardiac arrest deaths.
