Singapore urges migrant workers to report kickback schemes after a major S$289,000 case.

Singapore's Ministry of Manpower is urging migrant workers to report kickback schemes after a major case where a former manager collected over S$289,000 from 57 workers for work pass renewals from 2014 to 2020. The ministry noted this as one of the largest kickback cases and stated workers with valid claims can change employers. As of last June, Singapore has over 1.5 million foreign workers.
