Nearly 96% of new cars registered in Norway in January were electric, closely approaching the country's goal of selling only zero-emission vehicles by 2025. Out of 9,343 new cars sold, 8,954 were fully electric. Electric vehicles in Norway benefit from incentives such as tax and toll exemptions, free parking, and access to public transport lanes.
