Nigerian group demands probe into $60M missing from government funds, threatens legal action.

A Nigerian anti-corruption group, SERAP, is urging President Bola Tinubu to investigate allegations that over N26 billion (about $60 million) in public funds are missing from the Petroleum Technology Development Fund and the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources in 2021. The group has called for a thorough investigation and the prosecution of anyone responsible, as well as the recovery of the funds. SERAP warns of legal action if the government does not act within seven days.
