Kuwait's Cabinet approves a budget projecting a $20.43 billion deficit for 2025-2026.
Kuwait's draft budget for 2025-2026 forecasts a substantial deficit of about 6.3 billion dinars ($20.43 billion). Total revenues are expected to reach 18.23 billion dinars, with oil revenues anticipated to drop by 5.7% due to a lower oil price benchmark. The budget, set to start in April, also projects a slight reduction in total expenditure to 24.54 billion dinars. The Cabinet approved the budget and praised the Ministry of Finance for its efforts.
