The 62nd Le Carnaval, a celebration of local French culture, started at Lee Park on Sunday despite cold weather. Organized by Les Compagnons des francs loisirs, led by Executive Director Arnaud Claude, the week-long event attracted a large crowd, including North Bay Mayor Peter Chirico. Claude highlighted the community's resilience and joy in coming together despite the chilly conditions.
