Tianjin steel company cuts emissions with green tech, aiding China's climate goals.

Tianjin Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. (Tiangang) has significantly cut its carbon emissions by adopting green technologies like hydrogen trucks, energy-efficient lamps, and a 100-megawatt power facility that converts blast furnace gas into electricity. These efforts, which also include machinery upgrades and rooftop solar panels, help China meet its goal of peaking carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
