Tennessee released its first report on crimes committed by undocumented immigrants between October and December 2024, noting 2,719 cases statewide. Hamilton County had the fifth-highest number of such crimes. The most common offenses were DUIs, driving without a license, and traffic violations. Among the 3,854 charges reported, 447 were violent, including 11 homicides. Mexico was the top country of origin for those charged. The report, mandated by new state law, was compiled from 73 of the state's 95 counties, with 71 counties submitting reports for all three months.
