A superintendent at a women's government college in Karachi allegedly embezzled over Rs900,000 in exam fees from 81 students and fled. The college principal filed an FIR after the superintendent failed to deposit the funds and did not return since January 25. Most students have since received their admit cards. The police are seeking to arrest the official, who reportedly attempted to consume poison but is now receiving medical treatment.
