Sheriff's deputies are searching for missing 74-year-old George Edwards, who has cognitive impairment.

Sheriff's detectives in Lincolnton, North Carolina, are searching for George Reid Edwards, a 74-year-old man last seen on January 31, 2025, around 5 a.m. on Buffalo Shoals Road. Edwards, who has cognitive impairment, was driving a black 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with NC license plate ELH-4753 and left home without his cell phone or wallet. A Missing Endangered Alert has been issued. Anyone with information should contact Lincoln County Communications or Detective Jon Propst.
