Thousands of speeding fines near Sidcup may be invalidated due to speed limit signs being too small.

Thousands of speeding fines issued on the A20 near Sidcup, south-east London, could be invalidated due to temporary 40mph speed limit signs being smaller than the required 750mm width. Over 60,000 drivers were fined after the speed limit was reduced from 70mph following flooding. Thomas Turrell argues the signs were only 450mm wide, but TfL claims they were compliant with regulations.
