A recent AP-NORC poll shows that about half of Americans support using weight-loss drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy for treating obesity in adults, but opinions are more divided when it comes to teenagers. While doctors and researchers see these drugs as effective, concerns persist, especially regarding teens and non-obese individuals. About half of Americans also support Medicare and Medicaid covering these drugs for those with obesity.
