A 23-year-old Toronto murder suspect and his passenger were arrested during a traffic stop in Alberta.

A routine traffic stop in Airdrie, Alberta, led to the arrest of a 23-year-old suspect wanted for two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder in Toronto. The suspect, who gave false identification, was found with a loaded firearm and initially fled on foot before being captured. The driver, Alysha Chand, was also arrested and charged with possessing stolen property and counterfeit money. Both are in custody awaiting further court action.
