A woman in Nigeria is charged with stealing and attempting to sell a baby, pleading not guilty.

A 27-year-old unemployed woman, Edna Friday, from Delta State, has been charged in a court in Awka, Anambra State, for allegedly stealing a baby and participating in its sale. She pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of N500,000 with a surety of the same amount. The case is set to be mentioned again on March 19.
