The Tampa Bay Rays have signed South Korean infielder Ha-Seong Kim to a two-year, $29 million contract, including an opt-out after the first season. Kim, 29, played for the San Diego Padres and won a Gold Glove in 2023. He is recovering from shoulder surgery and expected to return in May. The Rays hope Kim will help fill the shortstop position and bolster their infield.
