Kings' defenseman Drew Doughty returns after 47 games, set to play against the Florida Panthers.

Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty, 35, is set to make his season debut against the Florida Panthers after recovering from a broken ankle suffered in a preseason game. Doughty, a four-time Norris Trophy finalist and two-time Stanley Cup champion, had been out for the first 47 games but returned to practice last week. The Kings, currently third in the Pacific Division, have struggled recently, losing six of their last eight games.
