Oregon Health Authority warns three providers for exceeding healthcare spending limits set by a 2019 program.
Oregon's Health Authority has issued a warning to three healthcare providers—Moda Health, UHC Company, and Oregon Medical Group—for exceeding the state's 3.4% annual healthcare spending increase limit set by a 2019 program.
These organizations saw cost increases of 11.6%, 6.4%, and 6.5%, respectively.
While 19 of Oregon’s 30 health insurance plans and 29 of 52 hospital systems met the target, the flagged providers may face performance improvement plans and financial penalties.
