A Bangladeshi national, Mohammed Shariful Islam, accused of stabbing Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in his Mumbai apartment, has been remanded into 14 days of judicial custody. The Bandra court denied the police's request for an extended police custody, stating that the investigation appeared complete. Khan was hospitalized for five days after the attack. The accused reportedly changed his name and entered India illegally to raise funds for his mother's medical expenses.
