Two hitmen, Tanner Fox and Jose Lopez, are set to receive life sentences for the second-degree murder of Ripudaman Singh Malik, who was acquitted in 2005 of involvement in the 1985 Air India bombings. Both originally faced first-degree murder charges but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge in October. They are proposed to be ineligible for parole for 20 years.
