Recent study finds both genders prefer younger partners in blind dates, defying common stereotypes.
A recent study from the University of California, Davis involving 4,500 blind dates found that both men and women are slightly more attracted to younger partners, challenging the belief that women prefer older partners.
The research, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, showed that preferences for younger partners were consistent regardless of gender and age, ranging from 22 to 85.
The study did not examine whether these preferences led to long-term relationships.
