Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is now the third National Guard Training Center in the U.S. and the first on the East Coast. The center offers a 12-day training program called TREAT, focusing on trauma and deployment skills for National Guard members. Participants learn advanced medical techniques in real-world scenarios, including rotations in emergency and intensive care units and a mass casualty simulation. The program also emphasizes mental health care.
