Norway's retail sales unexpectedly fell by 0.1% in December 2024, reversing a 0.4% increase in November and defying expectations for a 0.2% rise. Sales of ICT equipment and food products declined by 9.8% and 4.0% respectively, but cultural and recreational goods saw a 1.1% increase. Year-over-year, retail sales still rose by 0.7%.
