LDA and Cork City Council plan to build over 140 affordable homes in Cork City Centre by 2030.

The Land Development Agency (LDA) and Cork City Council plan to build over 140 affordable homes, mainly cost-rental apartments, on a 0.6-acre site in Anglesea Terrace, near Cork City Centre. The project, set to begin in 2027 and deliver homes by 2030, aims to create a sustainable community. The LDA is also developing other sites in Cork, including the former St Kevin's Hospital and a former ESB site.
